Bills Films, Inc. V: 2.0
Version 2.0 (aka: Better)

Welcome to Bills Films, Inc.

Welcome to the new Bills Films, Inc. website! This website is intended to show some of the video work that has been done by Steven and Nathan Bills.

If you're looking for the Bills Films Vimeo page, go here: Bills Films Vimeo Page

High QualityOn the left side of this page you will find the navigation pane. Use this to find where you want to go. All of the videos that are on this site are located in the 'Multimedia' section. The 'Films' section contains all of the most recent films (with the most recent video being at the top of the page). These films were shot on a few different cameras, ranging from the Sony HDR-HC3, to the Panasonic GH2 and Canon 60D and 6D DSLRs. On the 'Films Archive' page you will find a lot of my older videos (I have been making videos for 8+ years now), and most of the videos in that section were shot on the Canon GL1 MiniDV camcorder (may it rest in peace!).

We specialize in short-form narrative videos, but we also do event and wedding videography, as well as the occasional documentary-style video. The Production process varies greatly depending on the video, but I normally start by jotting down ideas and then coming up with a basic outline, which then gets turned into a script. I also make shot lists so as not to forget anything when I'm shooting on the day. For post production, I mainly use Adobe's Creative Suite, using Premiere Pro CS6 for editing, and After Effects CS6 for the effects work and color correction. I also use Sony Vegas for editing, and have used Final Cut Pro 7 and Avid Media Composer 6 for editing as well.
